Leeds care home is a finalist for major national design awards
Augustus Court residential care home in Leeds has been nominated for a major national design award.
Ex-Huddersfield Town player Denis Law returned to the town today to officially open The Oakes Care Centre - built by Conroy Brook for Meridian Healthcare.

Conroy Brook Chairman, Ivan Conroy, and Site Manager Graham Barber are pictured with Denis and Mayor of Huddersfield Councillor David Ridgway, following the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the entrance to the care centre.
The home features large deluxe bedrooms, spacious lounges, restaurants with food prepared by trained staff, a purpose-built cinema room and a Victorian style shop, and will provide vital care and support for the people of Huddersfield and the surrounding area.
