Work is scheduled to begin on Conroy Brook’s major new flagship development in the West Yorkshire village of Stocksmoor.
The project, to be known as Stocksmead, is the latest scheme from the award winning Yorkshire property developer.
The development will begin with the construction of eight large four/five bedroom luxury family homes, followed by two three bed semis with garages, with the project reaching its conclusion with seven affordable cottages.
All the homes have been designed to complement the architecture of the local area, using traditional materials but given a 21st century twist to create a range of properties with the unique Conroy Brook contemporary feel.
“This is exactly the sort of project we enjoy working on the most,” said Conroy Brook CEO Richard Conroy. “Ours is a family–owned business that has won more than 50 awards for design and construction excellence.
“For over 40 years we have created outstanding, craftsmen-built developments of the highest quality and we are confident that Stocksmead will be a great addition to our portfolio of developments.
“It is a great location in an increasingly popular area due to its proximity not only to Huddersfield but also to the north’s major towns and cities, thanks to the nearby M1 and M62 motorways and a railway station that links with both Huddersfield and Sheffield and beyond.”
Stocksmead follows the already highly acclaimed Conroy Brook Swaine Meadows development in Hoylandswaine and the Summerford development in the village of Ingbirchworth.
The company also recently completed work on a successful £2 million project to bring affordable homes to the West Yorkshire village of Upperthong.
