Conroy Brook Founder Receives Outstanding Contribution Award 

The founder and director of Holmfirth property developer Conroy Brook, Ivan Conroy, has been honoured in a prestigious awards which has recognised his ‘outstanding individual contribution to over 50s housing in the UK’ over a 15 year period.

The UK Over 50s Housing Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the UK Over 50s housing sector. The philosophy behind the awards is to give recognition to efforts to advance profitability / surplus of all industry sectors, and reward those who lift and enhance, via innovation, the customer experience/enjoyment.

In addition to Ivan’s award for ‘Most Outstanding Individual Contribution’, Conroy Brook also won an award for Retirement Village design.

Commenting on the awards, Ivan said: “On behalf of the whole company, I was delighted to accept both the UK Over 50s Housing Awards last week. These reflect the large number of nursing homes, sheltered housing schemes, retirement apartments, special needs provisions and close care units that we have developed over the last 10 years, and continue to be heavily involved in.

We are currently in the process of developing one of the largest schemes to date in Leeds for our regular client Meridian Healthcare, which I have been involved in, from corporate negotiations to production and design.”
