Major funding awarded to Conroy Brook £10 million Denby Dale scheme
Award winning property developer Conroy Brook has been awarded major funding for its new £10 million development in the historic West Yorkshire village of Denby Dale.
Leeds Beckett University student Jack Cheetham has been appointed to a year out internship with award winning West Yorkshire property developer Conroy Brook.
Jack, who is 22 and studying quantity surveying at Leeds Beckett, joins the team at the Holmfirth based company on a gap year placement as a trainee assistant quantity surveyor, bridging the gap on his degree course to further his education within the construction industry.
“I decided I wanted some hands on experience as part of my course and was really excited to be accepted by Conroy Brook as they are working on some really amazing projects so the level of practical expertise I gain should prove invaluable,” he said.
Conroy Brook Construction Director John Rodda added: “As a company we are always looking to develop the next generation of talent as that is the obvious way to create a strong team for the future, not just for ourselves but for the industry as a whole.
“Since joining us, Jack has already demonstrated that he is a great learner and we feel he has a really important contribution to make to our many projects across the region.”
