2009: Rowan Court, Hollybank
Hollybank is a charity with a national reputation for excellence; a unique and effective organisation, working with some of society's most vulnerable members - children and adults with complex physical disabilities. They specialise in caring for and developing these individuals through a combination of specialist schools, children's homes and independent housing.
Conroy Brook, and award-winning architects Chris Carr Associates, designed Rowan Court - a three-storey building with one 5 bedroom apartment on each floor - in close conjunction with Hollybank to meet the Trust’s specific requirements for a modern, purpose built "state of the art" close care facility, which would meet and exceed all current legislation regarding the young people's needs.
2007: Speights Loft, Mirfield
15 luxury loft style 2 bedroom apartments in one of the best known and most characterful buildings in Mirfield. An exclusive loft conversion development over three floors situated in the centre of Mirfield.
2005-2007: Crowhurst Gardens, Coach Road, Brighouse
Five luxury 4 & 5 bedroom natural stone detached homes. This was a rare opportunity to acquire a home of the highest quality in one of the best parts of Brighouse, backing onto green belt land and adjacent to Crownest golf club. With a price range £400,000 - £550,000, the properties sold quickly with all being reserved off-plan prior to practical completion.
2005-2006: 16 Dewsbury Road, Rastrick
A single natural stone 4 bedroom detached home, along with a complete refurbishment of an 18th century cottage next door. The property – which was designed to maximise the splendid views from its elevated position – comprised a study downstairs, 4 bedrooms, sun lounge, detached double garage with electric remote-controlled doors, luxury fitted kitchen with granite surfaces, main house bathroom plus an en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom.
2005-2006: Croftlands, off Green Lane, Idle, Bradford
Two natural stone, detached homes, set in attractive large plots well located off a private drive in a quality suburb of Bradford. Both properties were 4/5 bed plus study / sun-lounge / double garages (with electric doors) and our usual high specification of finish, plus an exclusive setting giving long distance views, accessed down a private drive.
2004-2005: White Chimneys, Savile Park, Halifax
An existing refurbished 1927 tudor-style manor house (comprising 5 bedrooms, conservatory and 2 large reception rooms) plus 3 new homes in the former grounds. The original house, a superbly built and attractive property, was separated from the new homes by a substantial stone wall and pillars, with close boarded fencing above to ensure complete privacy.
The 3 new homes were all circa 2850 square feet and consisted of 4 bedrooms, extra open plan family room above double garage, sun lounge and fully turfed, landscaped gardens plus patio areas. Electric garage doors and electric gates were also included.
2003-2004: White Rose House Nursing & Care Centre, Holme Valley Hospital Holmfirth
Developed in conjunction with Meridian Healthcare Ltd, White Rose offered a purpose built nursing home in natural stone on 2 levels comprising 60 bedrooms, all with en-suite.
Other features; included beautiful landscaped gardens, tv/ telephone in all rooms, superior bedrooms with enhanced features, reception, residents and visitors lounges, call system, laundry and newspaper service, specialist medical facilities and hair salon.

2003-2004: Ashleigh Dale, Birkby, Huddersfield
This substantial single 5/6 bedroom family home was designed for the prominent site it occupied in Birkby, one of the most popular residential locations in Huddersfield. Sold at an early stage in proceedings, the Conroy Brook team produced a unique home of prestige to meet the demanding brief of the client. The specification included luxury kitchen and bathroom / ensuites / open plan kitchen / family room / electric gates/ landscaping including paved setts, external illumination.
This development was a finalist in the 2005 FMB Master Builder of the Year Awards and won a “Highly commended” in the Yorkshire & Trent region category. Click here to see our array of awards.
