Flamenco Dancer Entertains At Holly Bank School
Last week saw the children of the Holly Bank School receive a special treat in the shape of flamenco dancer Lucie Lee – supported by award-winning Holmfirth property developer Conroy Brook.

Conroy Brook has a long-standing relationship with Hollybank Trust, working with them on various projects including the newly completed Rowan Court close care unit in Holmfirth, and wanted to continue this support by sponsoring one of the school’s regular events.
The Holly Bank School is an integral part of Hollybank Trust – a charity working with some of society's most vulnerable members – children and adults with complex physical disabilities. The teachers at the school try to run events, bringing in people like flamenco dancer Lucie, as often as possible, which are linked to the curriculum and provide a visual and sensory experience for the children.
The students are currently in the middle of learning all about Spain and its culture – food, listening to music, looking at artwork – so having a flamenco dancing demonstration was perfect! In fact many of the children joined in with clapping and shakers, with some even getting up to join in the dancing!
