UK Over 50s Housing Awards 2015
Founder and director of Conroy Brook, Ivan Conroy, received the accolade of 'Outstanding Individual Contribution to Over 50s Housing in the UK' at the UK Over 50's Housing Awards 2015. In addition Conroy Brook also won an award for Retirement Village design. The awards celebrate and reward excellence in the UK over 50s housing sector, and acknowledge those who lift and enhance the customer experience.
Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2015
The Denby care centre in Denby Dale, owned by Meridian Healthcare and built by Conroy Brook, won the ‘Best New Medium-Sized Care Home in the UK’ category at the prestigious 2015 Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. The Awards aim to promote and recognise the very best developments in all types of care-related property in the UK.
Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2013
Conroy Brook, in partnership with Meridian Healthcare, was announced runner up in the New Care Homes (Small) category of the prestigious Pinders National Healthcare Design Awards for its Oakes care home development. The annual Pinders Healthcare Design awards recognise best practice and design excellence in care homes throughout the UK.
Housebuilder of the Year Award 2012
Nearly 500 people squeezed into the The Tower Hotel near Tower Bridge to hear Radio 4 Today presenter Justin Webb announce the winners of the Housebuilder of the Year Awards 2012. Conroy Brook's sister company Towngate Homes was proud to be shortlisted in the Best Design category for its Broomfield Avenue development in Halifax.
UK Over 50s Housing Award 2011
Conroy Brook received the accolade of 'The Most Outstanding Retirement Apartment Development in the UK 2011' at the UK Over 50's Housing Awards for our now fully sold Holme Valley Court development in Holmfirth. The awards celebrate and reward excellence in the UK over 50s housing sector, and acknowledge those who lift and enhance the customer experience. From 723 entries, 261 additional nominations, anonymous inspections and hours of research and evaluation, Holme Valley Court was chosen as 'the most outstanding exemplar' in the category.
UK Property Award 2010
Conroy Brook sister company Towngate Homes received a Highly Commended commendation for Best Property, Yorkshire in the 2010 UK Property Awards for its Broomfield Avenue development in Halifax. The company received the award for Plot 6 at Broomfield Avenue in the awards which are run in association with Bloomberg Television and form part of the International Property Awards, the world's most prestigious competition dedicated to finding the most outstanding property professionals across the globe.
Housebuilder of the Year Award 2010
Conroy Brook was awarded two of the housebuilding industry's most coveted accolades at the Housebuilder Awards 2010, scooping 'Housebuilder of the Year' (small-medium category) and 'Best Design' for Somersbury Court in Almondbury, Huddersfield. The Housebuilder Awards were established 6 years ago to honour the best of innovation and excellence in the UK housebuilding industry.
NHBC Pride in the Job Award 2010
After months of rigorous judging by Inspectors, Inspection Managers and a Regional Director from NHBC, Towngate Homes' site manager Graham Barber was announced as one of the winners of the 2010 Pride in the Job Quality Awards. As well as receiving the Pride in the Job Award, Graham also went on to receive the prestigious Seal of Excellence. This is the only competition in the industry that rewards and recognises the work of site managers and is a great achievement.
Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2010
Conroy Brook was announced runner up in the Independent Living category of the prestigious Pinders National Healthcare Design Awards for its Rowan Court development – a close care unit for the Hollybank Trust. The awards were established in 1999 to promote and recognise the very best UK developments in all types of care-related property, and this year they received an astonishing number of high quality entries, making the task of choosing between them an extremely difficult one.
